We stopped here on a recommendation for dinner on our first night in Rothenburg after a full day flying in from Oregon.
It was very hot and we really wanted an outside table, but they were all full.
The owner said he was doing most of the work alone that night and that service would be slow.
We settled into the heat of an inside table next to another family that was just leaving.
They told us not to worry, the food will be worth it... and made a couple recommendations to us.
My wife and I ordered a large Italian salad and a pizza to share.
My son ordered some bruschetta for a starter.
The pizza was good and the fresh salad was beautiful.
They were right, it was worth the wait and discomfort.
